Hey there!

I just wanted to take a moment to welcome all the new followers to the bakery.

Here I was, keeping myself to myself, hiding inconspicuously in my little corner, chocolate smeared across my face and my fingers covered in dough, surreptitiously licking out the bowl, when those cheeky monkeys over at WordPress HQ go and point a big shiny arrow at me.

Now you’ve all found me. I am most grateful and I really appreciate you taking the time to visit. I hope I can meet your expectations. May we experience many sugar highs together.

I have lots of Christmas recipes planned for the coming weeks to help you partake in the annual indulgence before we all ban chocolate from our houses forever (well, maybe we’ll manage a week. Let’s not go too crazy).

To those of you across the pond – Happy Thanksgiving. I shall be enjoying a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings myself tonight as it is my sister’s birthday and her favourite meal is Christmas dinner. I have to say I am rather looking forward to it!
